The story picks up right where it was previously left off… A quick recap… Celine is a vampire who have been loyal to her leaders for many years until she found out that her mentor and trusted father-figure, Victor, was the one who killed her whole family and has been lying to her all these years… Now that she had killed Victor, she is on the run from the rest of the vampires with only one ally left, Michael, the human descendant of Corvinus who is now a hybrid of vampire and lycan (werewolf)… Trouble stirs when the first vampire Marcus Corvinus awakens and is determined to free his lycan twin brother, William, a vicious killer who has been locked up for centuries so that they can rule the world together… Celine and Michael while on the run, crosses paths with Marcus as Celine is the only one who knows the location of William… Now Celine and Michael turn their attention to stopping Marcus… and they ended up face to face with Alexandre Cornvinus, the eldest and first immortal… He was the only one who could stop Marcus but he could not bring himself to do it because no matter what Marcus is still his son… but after Marcus arrives to kill him… Alexandre passes his legacy to Celine by giving her his blood… Together Celine and Michael defeat Marcus and William… making them the future of the immortals…

The first movie was still better but the thing I liked about this one is that it an immediate continuation of the previous one… and the story develops really quickly… Less action this time though… the first one had a lot a lot of killing… but this one was pretty brutal at some parts… I enjoyed it… I always like a good vampire story… Cheers…

A movie about this guy who used to be fat, Chris, who is best friends with the hottest girl in high school, Jamie, and he was in love with her but she only thought of him as his friend… or so she thought… After a humiliating incident during his high school graduation party… he left town and made something of himself… plus he lost weight… By chance he ends up in his hometown and bumps into Jamie… He decides to give her a taste of how he used to feel but she in fact fell in love with him and so he just ended up looking like a jerk and losses his best friend… But realizing he was wrong he goes back to apologize and confessed that he had always loved Jamie… and yes they ended up together…

A rather crap movie don’t bother… Good for filling up spare time when you’re bored though…

Many of us know the name Casanova as the name of a man who seduces women but never falls in love with any of them… a player in modern terms… In the movie… Casanova finally meets his match… When he was young Casanova’s mother left him but promised she would be back for him one day and ask him to stay in Venice until then… While waiting… Casanova occupies his time by courting women… Time and time again he was caught but never charged because he had the support of the Prince of Venice… But Casanova had pushed it a little too far when seduced a virgin who was supposed to marry a very powerful man… The Prince tells Casanova to find himself a respectable bride to change his reputation… He sets his sights on the famous Venice Virgin, Victoria, but a shy young man Giovanni Bruni has been in love with her for a long time and when he finds out she is engaged to Casanova, he challenges Casanova to a duel but Casanova gave him a different name, Lupo… However being a gentle man… he gets his much more talented sister, Francesca Bruni, to duel for him in secret… When Casanova, realizes he was dueling with Francesca he continues to hide his identity because he was starting to fell in love with her… Things get nasty when Casanova finds out Francesca is writing as Guardi, a man who criticizes the small-mindedness of men in that era… and that she was also engaged to Paprizzio… He then pretends to be Prapizzio and uses all his efforts to win her heart… In the mean time, an inquisition has been made on Casanova and Guardi… During a ball everything reveals itself… Casanova confesses his love for Francesca… she finds out he is Casanova and that he knows she is Guardi… Casanova is caught and then he confesses to being Guardi as well and was charged… But Francesca was in too deep and in fact was in love with Casanova… she confessed to be the real Guardi and they were both charged and sentenced to hang to death… But then out of nowhere Casanova’s mother and her partner came in disguise to save Casanova and Francesca but was foiled… Now they are on the run and with the help of everyone they know they sailed away from Venice with Giovanni Bruni stayed behind to marry Victoria, and took over the legend of Casanova… Casanova and Francesca ended up happily every after…

The movie was pretty good compared to how badly it’s been doing in the box office… It’s funny, witty and charming… I like the fact that in the end the legend of Casanova lives on through someone else rather than the real one… Yeah I enjoyed it… Cheers…

A Woody Allen movie… This movie is about how sometimes we get ourselves into situations that the more you struggle the deeper you sink… the quicksand effect… A struggling young ex-tennis pro turned tennis instructor, Chris Wilton’s life changes forever when he is assigned to instruct a young wealthy bloke, Tom Hewett, whom has similar interests as Chris and becomes good friends… Tom introduces Chris into his family and Tom’s sister, Chloe, falls in love with Chris… Chris adores Chloe that is until he meets Tom’s fiancee Nola Rice, a struggling American actress who went to London in search of theatrical opportunities… Chris strays into dangerous waters when he decides to pursue Nola… Nola plays it hot and cold but ultimately does not want to jeopardize her relationship with Tom… things change one day when Tom’s mother, who dislikes Nola very much, insults her and feeling depressed Nola goes off in the rain… Chris saw her and went after her… and they connected… but After that incident Nola did not want to have anything to do with Chris saying that it just happened and would never happen again… Sometime later… Chris and Chloe got married… Chris now works for the Hewetts, and Tom is no longer seeing Nola… in fact the got married to someone else soon after he broke up with her… After he found out Chris obsessively searched for Nola… by chance they met again in Tate Modern… and their affair began… Chris grows distant from Chloe, Chloe desperately wants to have a baby and things are made worst when the one time Chris did not use protection, Nola got pregnant… Things start to get out of control when Chris promised Nola he would leave Chloe for her but Chris actually did not want to give up the luxurious life he was living now… Chloe goes mental and threatens Chris she would go to Chloe when he kept delaying leaving her… In desperation Chris had no choice but to get rid off Nola… He planned out her murder to make it look like she was not the actual target by killing the neighbour first and robbing her place and then killing Nola to make it look like she walked in on the robbery… The police found Nola’s diary which has detailed records of her affair with Chris… Chris admits the affair but denies the murder… By a stroke of luck… a few days later… another robbery killing occurred nearby and they found one of the missing jewelery from Nola’s case which sealed the case… leaving Chris to no longer be a suspect… and he was free to live his life again…

A very intense movie especially towards the end… quite a good movie but a little boring at times… amazingly I did not see the killing coming at all… I think it’s because all the chaos sucks you into the moment that you only think about what’s happening… not bad… not bad at all…

Well this movie is obviously about the life and love of Johnny and June Carter Cash… An excellent movie… I actually didn’t really want to watch it because I found biography movies to be boring… but this one is not… it’s so good… Great performances by both Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon… Hats off to the singing as well… it was pretty darn good… And I found that I enjoyed Johnny Cash’s music as well… It was great… You should definitely catch it!! Cheers…

The most ridiculous thing happened last night but before I get to that part… I was enjoying myself very much… the day started off well not having classes anymore… A group of us (people from O’Connell Residence) had decided the night before that we were going for a movie… so yesterday night we headed off to Hoyts in Melbourne Central to watch Walk The Line… Since we had some time before the movie started we went to have dessert… in the middle of having dessert, one of the girls, Anna, realized her ticket was missing… looked up and down but nowhere to be found… then I asked her what did she do with the ticket when she was making her order and that is when it struck her that she left it in the menu… Luckily we found her ticket… Oh excellent show by the way… love the music… amazingly… Anyway by the time the show ended it was 12 and when we got back it was around 12.10… We hung around the common room for awhile and one of the guys there, Jade, told us about how he left his key in his room so he was stuck in the common room for the night… he could have called the managers but he decided it was late and he didn’t want to trouble them… Awhile later we all headed off the bed… And that was when the stupid thing happened… You see… my toilet is outside my room… and without noticing… yes… I left my key in my room!!! I couldn’t believe it myself… because I usually had it hung around my neck but for some reason I took it off before I went to the toilet… of all the stupidity… so I spent the night in the common room as well… Another guy came down awhile later and I asked him if by any chance he had any DVDs and he had Shawn of The Dead so… we 3 watched the movie which ended at about 3 before we went to sleep… Man… it was so cold in the common room… but I still managed to sleep pretty well… That was really one of the stupidest things that has happened to me… Of course only on Monday… the last day of the semester… I went off to classes happily thinking it was all going to be over soon and got there early only to realize that I had left my last assignment back at my place… Arrggghhhh… I had to walk all the way back to get it and hence missed half the class… What’s up with me man… my brain is like not working properly… Oh well… no harm no foul… Oh and congratulations to Australian cricket team for winning the 2006 VB series… Cheers…

Today was the last day of classes for me… of course the exam is a week away but that’s just a technicality… I’m quite relieved really… I have a good feeling about it… the orientation process for 2006 has begun… Seeing all the new people coming in… makes me rather excited… cause I’m not the new one anymore… hehe… I’m a 2nd year!!!! Can’t believe it… never actually really thought about even being in uni let alone 2nd year… Quite an amazing feeling really… And the year really has made an incredible start for me… For one thing I’m enjoying very much my new accommodation… I’ve actually made more friends in this place then I have the whole year last year… Yes that is sad isn’t it… Not really I was just rather anti-social last year… But the people I’ve met here are my type of people… We joke… chat… watch tv… enjoy wasting time… Really sweet indeed… So life is good for now… Cheers…

Based on a true story… Rumor Has It is the story of what happened after The Graduate… Sarah has been search for who she was all her life is on her way to her younger sister, Anne’s wedding with her fiancee whom she agreed to marry even though she wasn’t sure if she was really in love with him… when she got to the wedding she found out something about her mother which made her think about her own life… After a little digging around she found out that her family was the story of The Graduate… where a 21 year old guy slept with a 42 year old woman and then dated her daughter… years later the week before the girl’s wedding… she fled to Mexico to be with the guy but went back to marry another guy… that girl was Sarah’s mother, the 42 year old woman was her grandmother, and the 21 year old guy was Bo Burroes… this got messy when her fiancee pointed out that Sarah was born less than 9 months after her mother’s wedding which made her decide to go find Bo to confront him about the truth of what happened in Mexico because she was convinced she was not her father’s daughter because she was nothing like the rest of her family… But when she found Bo… she found out that her father was indeed her real father because Bo was infertile… Seeing that Sarah was upset, Bo asked her to go for a drink with him… one thing led to another and they ended up spending the night together… Bo being a suave man convinced Sarah to spend some time with him since there was nothing to look forward to going back to her life anyway… When Sarah’s fiancee could not reach her for a some time… he went to look for her but caught her kissing Bo… which then led to them breaking up… Sarah left without telling Bo and went back to her grandmother’s place… there she finds out the real truth about her mother… Her father knew all along that her mother went off with Bo and that she came back because she really loved him and not Bo… Hearing that Sarah realizes that it was the exact same situation with her… that she wasn’t looking for herself all her life but her seeking for her mother… No longer scared she went to talk to her fiancee… They worked things out… and thus ended up together again…

Not too bad a movie… good for vacation watching… Not worth the cinema… Cheers…
