Fantastic Four

Ok… so before I watched it I heard much praise from friends and reviews… But… I found it to be unworthy of all the praise it has been getting… Sure it is rather entertaining but I thought it lacked depth… Too much individual antics but not much group hero work and in total not enough work put into the action aspect of the movie… Nothing much else to say…

Batman Begins… Christian Bale Rocks!!!

Man oh man… Batman makes a G-R-E-A-T come back… after a rotten spell with Batman & Robin… and I would definitely have to say that a lot of the credit goes to our new Batman… CHRISTIAN BALE… He is hot hot hot… The storyline was well developed and had enough action to satisfy the hunger but not too much that would make you saturated… Well directed by Christopher Nolan who made Katie Holmes less annoying than usual and supported by a good cast which included Liam Neeson, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman… I would make this the BEST of all the summer movies…If you have not caught it… you have no idea what you are missing…!!!! SO GO WATCH IT!!!! Cheers…

Fuss Over LiveStrong Bands… A Shame…

Since I came back to KL I’ve been seeing these “pirated” LiveStrong bands being sold everywhere… and it makes me so mad!!!! I bought my original LiveStrong band in Melbourne thinking its worth it since the money goes to the cancer foundation… And now these wannabe cool people are buying the “pirated” bands just so they can be “in”… how lame is that… I mean it’s fine if they had bought the original one but no… they’d rather buy the fake ones that the stall owners are keeping all the profits… The only reason I can think of why they would rather buy the fake ones is because they come in more colours… but that’s it… Come on… that’s NOT a good excuse to be cheating off the cancer foundation… Sigh…

War Of The Worlds

Ok… so the much talked about Tom Cruise movie… Well okay… basically it’s about a long time planned alien invasion being carried out… The plan was to exterminate the human race… and the whole movie was basically depicts Ray (Cruise) running and hiding from the aliens with his children to get them to Boston to meet his ex-wife… The movie was quite good… filled with suspense but it just wasn’t enough for me… and furthermore the ending was a little sudden… and hardly made any sense at all… I think if you don’t know the story or didn’t read the book you would be a little confused… I blame the script writer… But I think overall it’s quite entertaining… and like usual Dakota Fanning put a a great show as a scared little girl… ;p Cheers…

Bad Results…

God oh God!!! My results are terrible… You know I always thought my best subject was Intro Micro… I do well in class… but it turns out that my best subject is Math!!! For the first time since year 3… my best subject is Math… totally weird… But the good thing that turned out was that I passed all my subjects… so I don’t have to resit… Thank you God!!!

Veronica Mars

Oh man this is one of the most entertaining TV series to come out this few years… It’s basically about this 17 year old girl who works for (or rather with) her father a private detective and ex-sheriff of Neptune, California. She attends Neptune High while solving crimes in school and around town and also work on her best friend’s murder. She’s smart, witty, funny, and very cunning. Seriously this show keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat!!!! Watch it if you can… I’ll post up the synopsis soon… Cheers…
