Ok so I’m not sure how often you would read the papers (not the comics or sports sections)… But If you have been reading often you would have known that maybe a week or two ago… this guy wrote in about Malaysian men being well-mannered… Well I have no comment on that basically because everyone is different… But a lot of people wrote in to ‘debate’ on the issue… Well… then there was a comment about guys helping girls and whether or not that was a show of superiority or just plain helpful… Well I say that… DOES IT REALLY MATTER??!! Ok hear me out… If you’re a girl… and you ’seem’ to be in need of help… some guy comes up to you and ask if he could help… I know that most of us would feel ‘Ohmigosh… what does he want?’… or something like that… We are always so suspicious of why people would help someone else… sometimes even our best friends… But why is it that we can’t just view it as if its a really nice deed… and that people do really want to help without bad intentions… You know how some people are like… if you help them they’d be like ‘Why are you helping me… do I look like a weakling?’… and if you don’t help them they’re like ‘Why doesn’t anyone help me… so rude…’…. So what is it that we really want?! It’s so sad that we’ve become so un-trusting towards other people… I’m not saying that you should trust everyone and that everyone can be trusted… But sometimes a little faith can go a long way… And if we get some help (for the right purposes)… just accept without having that mind of thought that the person helping you would want something in return… and if they do want something in return… then you would truly be able to see the real side to the person…
